Sorry guys, I've been a silent observer in this discussion.
My exams are going on. They end tomorrow.

Please give me a day or two to discuss with Ian give you an update
about the GSoC Project.

If you would like to see the original GSoC proposal with my ideas, its
available on Github https://github.com/mndar/gsoc2015. Some of the
things described in it might change.
