Eventually it dropped to the emergency shell with an warning saying
"Warning: /dev/mmcblk0p3 does not exist". Here are the boot messages

The mmc_block kernel module is present. I am wondering why the kernel
and initramfs works on the Cubietruck3 but not in Qemu. Any
suggestions?
