No idea when last time I used 4KB kernel. Fedora had such but was 
switched to 64K as well.

My playing with PCIe graphic cards ended with Mustang firmware updates 
to get PCIe working better. I suspect that Gigabyte has those changes 
but maybe still something is not done properly.
