It therefore creates kernels that are not like the actual kernels. Better way to get a real (and patched) kernel source tree is to install the kernel source RPM rpm -Uvh kernel-xxxxx.src.rpm then to go to the SPEC directory ... normally /usr/src/redhat/SPECS ... and do this: rpmbuild -bp --target i686 kernel-2.6.spec (or i586, x86_64, etc.) Then go to the BUILD directory ... normally /usr/src/redhat/BUILD ... and the patched tree is there. -------------- next part -------------- A non-text attachment was scrubbed...
