[CentOS-devel] what's up with iproute-2.6.9-3.EL4.3.centos4?

There is an update to iproute, 2.6.9-3.EL4.3.centos4, in the i386 updates
area, but not in x86_64. The changelog contains the terse comment "fix for
CentOS bug #1476", which is here: <http://bugs.centos.org/view.php?id=1476>.

Unfortunately, that doesn't indicate exactly what the issue was, or mention
anything about being i386-only. Can someone shed some light on this?
