Hummm, "rio acima" ? lol
No, Vendor is not "Vendedor", it is closer to "Provedor de Serviços"
(service provider) on my experience. Actually, someone closer to
"3rd party service provider" (I know, it sucks).
Another option (for the translation in question) would be "Originador".
