Ah, overlooked the "how to contribute... without being an Extras' developer". Short of actually maintaining packages (ie, signing cla and becoming an Extras contributor), you're limited mostly to participating on the epel lists, providing opinions, feedback (via ml or bugzilla). -- Rex
