hi, we've to build a few kernel modules for rhel/centos which is not included in the distro (or not working yet, like RTL8101E: http://wiki.centos.org/HardwareList/RealTekRTL8101). currently there are three ways for this: - the obsoleted fedora way http://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Obsolete/KernelModules - dkms - akmod. livna development start to use akmod for all new modules, but there is not any kind of docs about it (or at least i can't find it). i'd like to hear a few pros and cons about each of these and why should we use the "good" one?:-) what's centos teams plan for the future? and why livna switch from the obsoleted fedora way to akmod instead of dkms? thank you for your help in advance. yours. -- Levente "Si vis pacem para bellum!"
