So given that CentOS installs can be around for years and years, perhaps a default policy of keepcache=1 might not be a good idea. Most people who use this, tend to do so when they need to setup a sort of local shared-cache between multiple machines - and there are a few optoins on the horizon that address that usecase in a much better way. However, if someone wants to take on a bit of coding and propose a patch where keepcache goes from either being On or OFf to become keepcache=<num of days>; that would be quite nice too. - KB
