Scientific Linux is providing installable LiveCD/DVD (32-bit and
64-bit) and mini_livecd (32-bit).  For example,

Perhaps, instead of re-inventing the wheel, we can collaborate with SL
and create CentOS versions without pouring a huge amount of time and
efforts?  Just a thought...
