That's exactly what I've done. I went for the 5.2.6 packages. I fully 
realise these are testing packages. I have run up a Xen VM just for the 
purpose of testing Drupal 7's PostgreSQL 8.3.4 compatibility, so its all 
close to the edge.

Will let you know how it goes.
