If and when upstream fixes the bug and the CentOS rebuild takes place, then bug will be fixed. If upstream does not fix the bug, then it doesn't get fixed. I think you are just creating work which doesn't produce any useful benefit - a link to the upstream bug tracker should be all that's required. --- Charlie
