[CentOS-devel] rpms development

let's say I want numpy fedora is using python 2.7 centos has 2.4
I have seen 3-4 different kind of numpy.rpm for centos and I am
looking for something more official

It is not really needed as all the packages come from RH? What would you want to use this for? Something we are working on is a online package browser, but that is something that will not be finished soon.
