While I can take your word that this is true, I don't see how that is 
relevant here. I'm not accusing him of unfair play (or anything else).

Jeff's influence is indeed pervasive. But I maintain that he is not able 
to enforce change within the CentOS dev team from the outside. And neither 
am I.
