Personally, I am a fan of too much info when the alternative is risking important data being missed. Just pre-define a date and time that the flood will start. Perhaps tell people to watch for a particular subject string that will indicate when the flood is complete. Perhaps: ==== [ CentOS-devel ] == Flood Start == <announcements> [ CentOS-devel ] == Flood End == ==== A suggestion. :) -- Digimer E-Mail: digimer at alteeve.com Freenode handle: digimer Papers and Projects: http://alteeve.com Node Assassin: http://nodeassassin.org "I feel confined, only free to expand myself within boundaries."
