[CentOS-devel] thunderbird 31 in centos 5 updates

I thought the base and updates repos were supposed to track upstream.  But
thunderbird-31.2.0 is in the centos 5 updates repo, while RHEL5.11 just has
thunderbird-24.8.0.

Security reasons?
