I tried CentOS-7-x86_64-GenericCloud-GA-7.0.1406_01.qcow2 on qemu/KVM/CentOS7 in with NoCloud datasource and it booted fine. /var/log/messages looks ok Got an IP from the host network with DHCP Managed to ssh to the VM.
