step1 would be to yum erase anything that didnt come from CentOS-6
itself, you clearly have external repos on there. And I mean not just
remove the repos, but actually remove all the content that came from
other places. Leave only content from base + updates for CentOS-6 itself.

secondly you need to use the centos tools from the centos repos
