The correct answer is that if it’s supported in RHEL 7.2 ppc64le, then it’s supported by CentOS 7 1511 ppc64le.

Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7.2 (little endian) is currently supported on PowerVM and PowerHV (bare metal) [1]
