It was already discussed several times during CBS meetings [1] but in the last one held yesterday [2] we decided to enforce the following rules : - People with active account on https://accounts.centos.org who had a TLS cert expiring in the following two weeks (now 3 weeks) will get a weekly mail notification (already in place for some months now) to invite them to renew their TLS cert = New - People still marked as "active" in ACO but who ignored the weekly reminder will get a different reminder when their cert expired. During a "grace period" (120 days) , they can still renew their TLS cert easily - After 120 days, such account[s] will get a mail saying that their account on ACO will be disabled by an ACO admin PS : worth knowing that as ACO user, you can put yourself in "inactive" status, and so the weekly reminder will not warn you at all. Should you have questions, feel free do discuss this on this thread, or #centos-devel on irc.freenode.net [1] https://www.centos.org/community/calendar/#Community_Buildsystem_&_Infrastructure_Meeting [2] https://www.centos.org/minutes/2017/september/centos-devel.2017-09-25-14.02.log.html -- Fabian Arrotin The CentOS Project | http://www.centos.org gpg key: 56BEC54E | twitter: @arrfab -------------- next part -------------- A non-text attachment was scrubbed...
