The Ceph upstream developers do not test Samba's integration as well as they develop and test the nfs-ganesha plugin. So it's unknown to me how well the plugin works today. However, you're right Fedora has built it for a while, so I don't see an issue with providing it in the Storage SIG. This would let CentOS users can test it more easily. - Ken On Wed, Jul 25, 2018 at 11:51 AM, Harry Mallon <Harry.Mallon at codex.online> wrote: > Hello all, > > The samba package in base for CentOS 7 doesn't have the CEPH VFS module (only on fedora I believe). Is that indicative of a known bug, or could the samba-vfs-ceph package be provided in the Storage SIG repos? > > Thanks, > Harry > > > Harry Mallon > Senior Software Engineer > T+44 203 7000 989 > 60 Poland Street | London | England | W1F 7NT > > > _______________________________________________ > CentOS-devel mailing list > CentOS-devel at centos.org > https://lists.centos.org/mailman/listinfo/centos-devel
