Thanks for bringing this discussion up, Jatin. Are you also interested in helping do some of the graphics work involved in a release design? If this helps, note the Fedora Project doesn't use a head accessory as part of its logo -- their current logo is a stylized letter F that forms an infinity symbol. Because of the potential for confusion with users, the Fedora Project has kept away from using any sort of hat or head accessory as part of its logo. Some stand-alone community efforts have done so in the past. I love the idea of having a release design that highlights the CentOS community in a way that makes it stand out, that would be cool.
