Speaking for myself only: Please don't be rude to other list members.  
This behavior is unnecessary, unhelpful, and unwelcome.

Frankly, that is not true.  Your need does not instill responsibility in 
others simply because they are able to meet it. Where you have a need, 
*you* have a responsibility to meet it.  If you need software, you can 
meet that responsibility by paying for the software, or by participating 
in its development (for example).

How you meet that need is entirely your decision.  However, making 
demands of people who offer their labor for free creates a toxic 
community.  Please don't do that.  When you make exchanges in life, you 
are free to negotiate the terms of that exchange before it is made.  
When you receive something without making an exchange in return, the 
thing you've received is a gift, and nothing more.
