You should currently see this $ ls -la /usr/lib/python2.7/site-packages/urllib3/packages/ssl_match_hostname lrwxrwxrwx. 1 root root 34 Aug 23 22:49 /usr/lib/python2.7/site-packages/urllib3/packages/ssl_match_hostname -> ../../backports/ssl_match_hostname and if you don't then the existing setup is wrong.
