Email does a pretty poor job of tone.  Please note that up until now, I
haven't been personally attacked on the list.  The two replies before yours
took it to that level.

By "We'll see you around" I really did mean that in a literal sense.  I do
actually attend conferences (and even their crappier counterpart the
"virtual" conference until this COVID stuff is done).  I personally know
many of the people on this list.  So when I say "I'll see you around".  I
mean "no hard feelings if you're not running a Red Hat OS next time I see
you."  I re-read it several times and I don't understand how that sounded
condescending, but I'll take your word for it.
