Stephen Gallegher and I had some conversations a couple years ago when Fedora modules were new about making GlusterFS modules, but the need then for modules was unclear, and I've never looked any further into that. Modules are like Richard Stallman. Unkempt, difficult to tolerate, and unwelcome on many campuses, even if the philosphy sounds very appealing at first glance and it's not being deliberately offensive. (And yes, I've known rms since the 1980's.)
