I think it is a good idea, at least a good reference point to be preset where everybody go to search for info in case of needing. Finally i don't think it's a good point to duplicate the info, unnecessary work and potentially problematic. Maybe i'm not taking all the points of view, considering space/hosting and so, anyway...
