Ralph , Can you add guidelines on the Newer ATI Display Cards wiki page regarding the Mesa problem . after installing the ATI driver from ATI web site and doing everything on the wiki i get Mesa driver when checking the driver with "fglrxinfo" . to solve this problem what i did was : 1. Before installing i deleted the Mesa libGL files : rpm -ql xorg-x11-Mesa-libGL-6.8.2-1.EL.13.37.5 /usr/X11R6/lib/libGL.so.1 /usr/X11R6/lib/libGL.so.1.2 /usr/lib/libGL.so.1 2. Then install the ATI driver . This way the driver will make its own libGL.so files with the appropriate symbolic links Yaniv Y
