I ported the tutorial from a generic one I'd written, hence I'd tried to stay away from upstream specifics, but good point and worth adding IMHO. I didn't cover the modprobing of additional modules simply because none of my examples needed modules that aren't loaded by default when iptables loads. My intention was to provide a basic starter guide to get folks started with manually configuring their own rules. Obviously there is so much more that could be covered (iptables can be a never-ending topic), I would say that if anyone wants to build upon my contribution and add further examples, then yes it would be useful to pick examples that allow for modprobing of additional modules to be covered. I guess that's my way of politely saying I don't have the time to significantly expand on what I've contributed, but I would be more than happy if others wish too do so :) > > ------------------------------------------------------------------------ > > _______________________________________________ > CentOS-docs mailing list > CentOS-docs at centos.org > http://lists.centos.org/mailman/listinfo/centos-docs
