We just rolled under the 24 hour mark for you to get your initial
proposals in.

The main thing is to get even a rough draft in to the system.

For the next few weeks mentors will continue to work with you on
refining your proposal. But it has to be in the system by the deadline.

Working on the proposals this way is an important part of how the
mentors will see you and your potential.

Remember that this is open source development -- we have ways of doing
things that may be new to you, such as turning in unfinished proposals
and working openly on mailing lists/in Melange to improve your
proposals. All of this is part of how open source projects work.
