you have to specify a path... example... rsync -aHv --delete --bwlimit=512 rsync://mirror.centos.org/cAos/centos/4.0/ /path/on/your/server/to/your/centos/4.0/dir/ I usually set a bwlimit so i'm not a bw hog, so you can remove the bwlimit if you want.
