Looks like mirrors3.kernel.org ( and  mirrors4.kernel.org
( are both up but mirrors.us.kernel.org ( is
still down. Given that the kernel.org people suggest using 
mirrors.kernel.org I think I will wait until they have things fully
restored before trying to use them again.
