[CentOS-mirror] Nginx?

I was just wondering, has anyone ever done any work with serving their 
mirror through nginx? I did some very brief research and it seems the 
only way to get the header to display is if you custom compile it 
yourself with the fancyindex module? This unfortunately doesn't come in 
the repo package.
