[CentOS-mirror] New Mirror Site - download.nus.edu.sg

Hi Fabian Arrotin,

Sorry for the late reply.

Download.nus is managed by NUS Hackers/ComCen NUS which is a different department as compared to mirror.nus which is managed by the School of Computing.

Both mirrors are known internally.

This mirror does not seek to replace any mirrors in Singapore, we’re just supplementing the mirror pool.

Yours truly,
Jeremias

Hi,

So I had a look and we already have a mirror for nus.edu.sg <http://nus.edu.sg/> listed on
mirror-status.centos.org <http://mirror-status.centos.org/> (and active/current) :
mirror.nus.edu.sg <http://mirror.nus.edu.sg/>. 1134 IN CNAME mirror.comp.nus.edu.sg <http://mirror.comp.nus.edu.sg/>.
mirror.comp.nus.edu.sg <http://mirror.comp.nus.edu.sg/>. 11884 IN A 137.132.84.194

Can you clarify if the new one will replace the previous one, or maybe
those are managed by different departments in the University (that
happens quite a lot) and not known internally ? :-)
