It is generally a better idea to not force the use of a specific
protocol but let rsync pick the best available protocol. This tends to
be IPv6 if available. We may not necessarily have an IPv6-enabled msync
node on all continents all the time and in these cases we're forced to
use only IPv4 for requests from that continent. Asia, South America and
Africa are typically affected by this (donated nodes are welcome if you
can help with this, see https://wiki.centos.org/Donate )
That said, 2a06:afc0::21 seems to be available from here:
$ rsync rsync://[2a06:afc0::21]/CentOS/
msync.CentOS.org rsync service (centose5)
---------------------------------------
This service is intended for the sole use of the CentOS worldwide mirror
network to synchronize mirrors.

2401:78c0::2, on the other hand, seems to be down. Fabian may need to
remove that address from rotation. Thanks for the notice!
