Well, it all depends on what we want to show. At FOSDEM we had a system
with a big TFT screen to show compiz in action. Now, everybody nowadays is
doing this (LinuxWorld Brussels had all Linux booths showing this) so we
may have to advance it a little. Maybe showing slideshows at the same time
and/or starting applications on some faces of the cube.

I'd like to see if we can take the same TFT screen with me, but it would
of course be easier if we don't have to transport it 800km or we find
something better.

We have triangular booth, so one or two projectors/beamers would be an
advantage as we can show both directions a message. Beware that beamers
will not be enough as we have to need a screen to display on as well
according to the organisation. So it might not be possible or too
expensive.

I'll bring a laptop, ralph will as well and possibly others too. So in the
worst case scenario we just display a few laptops to show off CentOS on
laptops. (Do make sure that most functionality you want to show works and
is tested on your laptop !)

What are we going to demo ? CentOS, as an Enterprise Linux has many
practical uses: servers, appliances and desktops. Servers is hard to show
off except for management/reporting applications, appliances could be
VOIP/VDR setups, desktops would be the compiz setup with interesting
GUI applications.

If you can fill in one of these, feel free to do so :) I can give you
access to the wiki if not already so.

It would also be nice if we could document the setup of a demo-system so
that other people can build on that next event.

Kind regards,
