Hi there,

Thanks for responding! Below is the set of images currently included in our Compute offering:

Operating Systems

Currently, we support the following operating systems :

Linux:

    CentOS 6.2 Server 64 bit
    CentOS 5.6 Server 64 bit
Debian Squeeze 6.0.3 Server 64 bit
    Fedora 16 Server 64 bit
Ubuntu Precise 12.04 LTS Server 64 bit
Ubuntu Oneiric 11.10 Server 64 bit
Ubuntu Natty 11.04 Server 64 bit
Ubuntu Maverick 10.10 Server 64 bit
Ubuntu Lucid 10.04 LTS Server 64 bit

Windows:

Windows Server Enterprise Edition 2008 SP2 32 bit
    Windows Server 2008 SP2 64 bit
    Windows Server 2008 R2 64 bit

We also provide several aPaaS Partner relationships with organizations such as ActiveState and DataStax that enhances this list.

We also currently have in place a methodology for import of custom images that will be broadened in the next release scheduled for the March/April timeframe, making this task much easier. I am copying my manager, Glenn Ferguson, who can provide greater detail into some of these new developments! I am sure e would love to pursue alignment with your current and specialized CentOS images!

The Very Best!

Hi Bruce,

Thanks for pitching in..

the overall plan here is to make official, tested-by-centos, images
available in as many cloud services as possible. AWS is done, BrightBox
is close.

We were in touch with the hpcloud guys in the late summer last year and
were told that it wasent possible for users to bring their own images as
yet ( which is fine ). However, as a project they were willing to accept
images that we posted, however the process of doing so involved pain
including installing commercial software, jumping quite a few hoops and
signaling over email. Has that process changed ? We would love to push
CentOS official builds in sync with the rest of the distro there as well.

Juerg Haefliger and Phillip Pao were the people I was in touch with at
the time.

Regards

I recently joined this mailing list and was wondering, based on what you are trying to accomplish, if you had ever considered attempting the same operation in our Cloud.
