How can I ssh to the machine if it doesn't start? I tried, but there was no response. 27.11.2013, 13:56, "Bob Ball" <bob.ball at citrix.com>: > The xen output doesn't show anything that I was expecting to see... > > This might be an "fbcon" issue - there needs to be a change between CentOS 5 and CentOS 6 as to how the module is compiled to work by default with mkinitrd (as a module) and dracut (compiled in). I understand there are workarounds for dracut to ensure it adds the fbcon module, so you might need to try them. > > One test is to just ssh to the machine and try to modprobe fbcon - the display should come back to life. > > Bob > >> -----Original Message----- >> From: centos-virt-bounces at centos.org [mailto:centos-virt- >> bounces at centos.org] On Behalf Of Vyacheslav Tokarev >> Sent: 26 November 2013 19:03 >> To: Discussion about the virtualization on CentOS >> Subject: Re: [CentOS-virt] Cannot start CentOS after installing the latest >> Xen4 with kernel 3.10.20 >> >> Yes, I was able to get output from Xen. >> Log file is attached. >> >> Slava. >> >> "Bob Ball" <bob.ball at citrix.com>: >>> Any chance of getting the serial output from >> Xen? http://wiki.xen.org/wiki/Xen_Serial_Console >>> That would be very useful to understand what might be going on here. >>> >>> Bob > > _______________________________________________ > CentOS-virt mailing list > CentOS-virt at centos.org > http://lists.centos.org/mailman/listinfo/centos-virt
