I am having a similar problem with my scsi tape drive,
where it is not being seen and i cant seem to find the
driver anywhere. i know it is being seen,1. the bios
is seeing it 2. i had this tape drive working before
with rh7.3. i looked in the /boot/config and found the
driver but it had this CONFIG_SCSI_AHA152X=m if i am
reading this right it is saying it is not going to be
out there no matter what i do. Do i have to recompile
the kernel to have this driver finally included.
