What differentiates Redhat 9 [boxed, sold product] from RHES3 [boxed, 
sold product] that would necessitate removal of ncftp (and others)? The 
only difference is that we're paying for support and services now as a 
matter of the purchase price, right?

It's clear for some things (xmms-mp3, eg), but for others it's a bit
