What about the HighPoint RocketRAID 1820 are these kernel supported on centos 3.3. With 8 sata ports and just an extra £30 more than the 8006-2LP is it worth it? With the highpoint if I was to add 250gb drives that would mean a massive 3.2tb of storage, compared to 500gb on the 3ware. 3ware only being able to do raid 0,1 due to only 2 sata ports, the highpoint can do everything including duplicate harddrives to create a mirror. Any other suggestions? Kind Regards, Imran ----------------------------------------
