They have db.CC.clamav.net and when installing a package the configuration is being changed based on the configuration in /etc/sysconfig/clock. The code can be found here (see %post section): http://svn.rpmforge.net/svn/trunk/rpms/clamav/clamav.spec And it would allow you to maintain and balance load based on the DNS zone information.
