Thanks for all the replies. It didn't bother me that much since it's
working perfectly, I'm just thinking that somebody new to CentOS might
get put off by this sanity check failing. I've seen it with FC2 and
FC3 happen as well.

At the moment I'm setting up my own yam repo
(http://dag.wieers.com/home-made/yam) to be able to install from the
network here... So CD installations for me is pretty much a thing of
the past right now!
