> Where did you get the rpm from ? Thank you for helping. Well, there were two straight from the web page that I tried. One was here, which was intended for Fedora 4, but I thought I'd give it a go: http://stentz.freshrpms.net/rpm.html?id=481 But it says it can't find the following dependancies: Gtk-Perl ogmtools subtitleripper vcdimager perl(Local::Messages) There are also RPMs here: http://www.exit1.org/dvdrip/contrib/pre-rpms/ From here I tried to download perl-Video-DVDRip-0.45-0.04.2.i386.rpm But it says I need: perl-Gtk-Perl perl-Storable perl-Event > I remember this being an easy install sometime back, lets see if we > can make this 'still easy to install' That would be nice. I tried looking for YUM repositories that have this, but was unsuccessful. And, as mentioned, I tried isntalling from source, and no luck. I have transcode successfully installed, and can run it from the command line, but I'm looking for that elusive GUI front end. Dave
