proxies are bypassed..one machine works the other doesn't. i'll try turning it off totally since maybe the bypass isn't working. DANG! Ok time to yell at firewall vendor the proxy bypass wasn't working. sorry for hte wasted time. Looks like from now one the first hting i need to look at is my firewall.
