[CentOS] mailing list traffic

Its seems we may have discovered a form of perpetual motion.....

Its amazing how a thread I started asking about USB performance turned 
into a debate of parliamentary proportions on backups....

Still, some interesting points were made, and this is what forums are 
all about....
