They are designed to be Internet e-mail clients, not corporate collaboration clients. Some, including Thunderbird, let you decide between using multiple "profiles" or having multiple "accounts" in just one profile. The latter is most common, but sometimes you might want to use the former (and not just stick with the "default" profile -- which is not prompted _unless_ you use the profile manager option at the command line). -- Bryan J.
