You don't have to mess with grub's device map. You can do it all from
the windows section in the config
title Windows
map (hd0) (hd1)
map (hd1) (hd0)
rootnoverify (hd0,0)
makeactive
chainloader +1
At least that's how I've got it set up in the office. If there's some
arcane reason for this to be a bad thing, I'm all ears.
