I don't use plesk, but since the form worked for the technician, I would
suspect a problem with either name lookups, what IP your mail server is
listening on, or your MTA setup.

The first thing you need to do is look at /var/log/maillog and see if
the messages are making it through the local server and getting to an
external server.  Any errors, reasons for non delivery, etc. should be
in /var/log/maillog or /var/log/messages.

I don't even know which MTA plesk uses (sendmail, postfix, etc.) ... but
that is where I would start.
