I agree ... nx and freenx on the CentOS server and the NX viewer from
nomachine.com on the windows machine should allow you to open a xsession
on the server.  It is much easier to set up than anything else
mentioned.

BUT ... using Cygwin is more flexible as it will allow you to run Linux
on the windows box as well as open an X session on the CentOS box.

If you only need the functionality you asked for then nx/freenx is the
easiest solution.
